Never Allow Anyone Place a Timeline on Your Life

Life is a series of journeys.
Sometimes we have to speed up, sometimes we have to slow down.
A season of grind.
A season of rest.
Both are necessary.
Sometimes existing is enough.
The pressures of life are not merely from life itself but from society..
From a friend, from a family member
The pressures of life are not merely from life itself
From the idea of lack, lacking
Feeling behind, confused
Sometimes existing is enough.
Life is meant to be lived and enjoyed. We forget to enjoy these moments.
Life is not a bucket list, a check off list
Life is meant to be fun
Laugh while learning, there is no such thing as failure.
Though the lesson may be grievous at the time. You will grow and learn from it.
Learn to enjoy all moments, become present in these moments.
Never get caught up in the hype of Yesterday and Tomorrow, life is Now.
Live in the now, be present.
If nothing else ease your worries of feeling as if you have to live on a timeline…
Remember, existing is enough.

“Throw everything away, forget about it all! You are learning too much, remembering too much, trying too hard. . . relax a little bit, give life a chance to flow its own way, unassisted by your mind and effort. Stop directing the river’s flow”

– Mooji

Remember, it’s your life. It’s your life.

Not your mother’s life. Not your sister’s life.

Not your friend’s life.

It’s your life, your life.

Not your father’s life. Not your brother’s life.

It’s your life. It’s your life.

Find your joy. Find your identity.

Your free, will not look like theirs.

Your happiness may not look like theirs.

That is ok, that’s the beauty of it.

You are unique and your life is too!

Something to consider:

  • Never impose your own thoughts or beliefs on people if they did not ask for it.
  • Why ascribe to things that does not truly brings you joy. A lot of anxiety and stress stems from us not living in our truth and not doing things we enjoy.
  • Try as many hairstyles, careers, food, etc. until you find out what works for you. Also note, what works for you now, may not work for you 5 or 10 years from now, adjust accordingly.
  • That energy we use to focus on other peoples lives, retract that energy and use it on our lives and improve ourselves. When people need advice or help, they will seek it. Until then, we can continue to focus on ourselves.
